2021 Project: AWS CodeStar Demo as Sole Trader | Infrastructure Devops Engineer (Internal | Commercial) - Project to demo a sample Python/Django application through a CI/CD pipeline from v1.0.0 to v1.0.1 to demonstrate the ease of set up, execution and access to key features of the CI/CD pipeline via AWS CodeStar. Its a native tool on AWS that performed well with no extra charges for its use, or management of other managed resources like AWS CloudFormation and Elastic Beanstalk. 2021 Project: Maolte as Sole Trader | Infrastructure Devops Engineer (Internal | Commercial) - Project to launch as a sole trader and infrastrucutre/devops engineer to compliment my work accessibility and not limit myself to just full time employee availability. I expended my work scope to include writing, technical writing and technical project management. Part of the project was selecting a vendor for hosting and building a website https://maolte.ie along with email hosting and all that it entails; such as anti spam measures, website hardening, CMS design and content development. I also project managed via kanban board on trello, the technological, marketing, finance and business development aspects of this set up project. 2020 Project: Slack Plugin as NOC Engineer (Internal | Commercial) - Developed a version 1.0 of a slack plugin in Go that pulled from Jira's API major incidents on going and presented them back to the slack work space in summary format for the logged in slack user. 2019 Project: Crawler as NOC Engineer (Commercial) - Developed a version 1.0 of a network crawler that pulled via api ticket details of an affecting network peering, logged into the network routers/switches and returned the basic peering details back to console for the NOC Engineer. 2018 Project: Geopath as Software Developer (Non-Commercial) - Developed a version 2.0 of a project I had developed for geocoding addresses. Implemented longitude and latitude returns on address uploads via forms and csv file uploads along with address returns for geo coordinate inputs.
